Imam al-Nawawi

Yahya ibn Sharaf al-Nawawi (1233–1277) was a Syrian Shafi'i jurist and hadith scholar. He is best known for his works Riyadh as-Salihin, the Forty Hadith, and the commentary on Sahih Muslim. His works remain among the most widely read Islamic texts across the world.
